St Martin's, Eglwysbach

March 2020: The Bench of Bishops of the Church in Wales issued a Pastoral Declaration (17 March 2020), the immediate effect of which is that all church services and gatherings for public worship and study groups and other events should no longer take place.  This was supplemented by Pastoral Guidance on 24 March 2020 which you can download above.

Regular church service times

09.30  Holy Eucharist

Followed by coffee, tea and biscuits and time for a natter.

Services at St Martin’s will vary until further notice, though will be at the usual times.  Please check locally to see whether it is Eucharist.

The present Church was re-built around 1782 on the site of a former church built probably in the 15th Century associated with the nearby Aberconway Abbey at Maenan.  A history of St Martin's can be found here, on History Points.
